NCDOL/Safety Awards 
Spring 2024, Time/Date TBD 

In conjunction with the N.C. Department of Labor, we recognize local private and public firms that achieve and maintain good safety records. The program is designed to stimulate interest in accident prevention and to promote safety in the workplace by providing an incentive to employers and employees to maintain a safe and healthful workplace. Safety first, always!

Business Awards 
Spring 2024, Time/Date TBD 

Acknowledging the achievements of local businesses. All of their performance, community impact, and customer care provided throughout the year matters! 
Nominations are closed at this time.

These awards include SIX different categories: Administrative Professionals Award, Minority Business Award, Small Business Award, Community Impact Award, Pinnacle of Achievement, and Micro Enterprise Award (not nominated).

Nomination Procedures & Rules

• Complete the nomination form. You may choose to attach it as the cover page to accompany letters of explanation and/or recommendation or supporting documents.
• All nominations must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the award name.  Mail by either certified USPS mail or hand-deliver to Vickie Jones, President/CEO at the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce, 301 North Queen Street, Kinston, NC.
• All nominations must be postmarked or delivered to the Chamber and given to a Chamber employee by the deadline date and time.
• All nominations will be kept confidential.
• The contact person listed on the nomination form will be notified if their nominee is chosen by the selection committee.  The contact person may or may not be involved in presenting the award.
